Senior Manager, Events & Experiences

Madeline Segura joins the team as the Senior Manager of Events & Experiences. She is responsible for overseeing all the logistical elements that go into XPRIZE branded events and elevating the experience of attendees. Madeline comes to the organization with more than ten years of event and project management experience in both the non-profit and corporate worlds and is excited to apply this expertise towards new, future-positive progress with XPRIZE.

Prior to joining XPRIZE, Madeline worked as an event director for the United States Tennis Association, the national governing body for the sport of tennis. There, she made a name for herself by creating innovative experiential events that rebranded the sport and brought program participation to record highs.

Madeline earned a degree in Broadcast & Digital Journalism at the University of Southern California, and worked as a news producer in Grand Rapids, MI early in her career. Driven by her passion to celebrate a community’s culture and its members’ diverse perspectives, Madeline ventured beyond journalism to explore the art of hosting events that forge lasting connections. By doing so, she sought to transcend the daily news cycle and create real and lasting impact – in which she succeeded. 

In her free time, you can find this LA native serving up aces on the tennis court or cheering on her favorite sports team, the LA Dodgers.
