As the HR Generalist, Tatum is a crucial member of the People & Culture team, contributing significantly to talent acquisition and people operations at XPRIZE. Her role encompasses recruiting administration, onboarding new XPRIZE Foundation members, driving the evolution of Learning & Development for internal employees, and handling payroll processing. Reporting directly to Katharine Schwer, the Director of People & Culture, Tatum plays a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the organizational culture at XPRIZE.

Her journey in Human Resources began with the pursuit of a Master's Degree in HR Management from DePaul University in Chicago, reflecting her commitment to excellence in her field. With a robust background in HR, Tatum has dedicated her expertise to several mission-driven organizations, including notable roles at Wonderschool and Age of Learning. 

Tatum's professional journey is not just a testament to her academic prowess but also a demonstration of her passion for contributing to meaningful causes. Her experience in the education-technology sector highlights her adaptability and expertise in aligning HR practices with the changing needs of dynamic industries. 

Beyond her professional endeavors, Tatum finds joy and balance in her personal life. Residing in Encino with her husband, son, and two cats, she embraces the importance of family and community.
