Jose Fiallos comes to the XPRIZE Foundation with extensive experience in several disciplines of HR including, Organizational Development, Organization Design & Effectiveness, Strategic Workforce Planning, Diversity & Inclusion, and Succession Management.
Jose’s domestic & international HR experience is vast which includes work in North America, LATAM, APAC, and Europe, handling all aspects of HR including labor negotiations, mergers & acquisitions, and cultural transformation initiatives. He began his career with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and has also worked at the J. Paul Getty Trust, AT&T, OSI Systems, and The CSU Office of the Chancellor.
Jose earned a Master’s degree from Pepperdine University in Organizational Development. His thesis is an AI-based methodology which allows employers to process direct labor workforce into the workplace without having to conduct an interview. The end result is an increase in candidate throughput, an increase in a diverse candidate pool, a decrease in discrimination, harassment claims and shorter unemployment rates for women & minorities. He is certified by Korn Ferry, the Center for Creative Leadership, the Myers Briggs Company and by Prosci as a Change Management Practitioner. He enjoys coaching his son’s sports teams, yoga, fishing and watching Science Fiction movies with his daughter.
