The XPRIZE Wildfire team recently participated in Business Solves - 25th Annual Conference and Corporate Citizenship Awards, organized by the U.S. Chamber Foundation in Washington, D.C..
In a session titled "How Technology Changed the Disaster Landscape," Andrea Santy, program director for XPRIZE Wildfire, with fellow panelists Sean Griffin, CEO of DisasterTech Inc., and Ryan Lanclos, Director of National Government & Public Safety Solutions for Esri, addressed the escalating challenges posed by extreme wildfires to communities, small businesses, families, and individuals. The focus was on exploring how technology can revolutionize disaster prediction, planning, and response. The session, moderated by Rob Glenn, Vice President of Global Resilience at the US Chamber Foundation, provided insights into best practices, lessons learned, and promising outcomes from key industry leaders.
