Global life expectancy has more than doubled in the last 100 years, but the quality of our health as we age has not increased at the same rate. Launched in November 2023, XPRIZE Healthspan is our bold initiative aimed at revolutionizing how we treat and approach human aging. Over 600 teams across 58 countries registered to compete and develop proactive, accessible therapeutic solutions that restore muscle, cognitive, and immune function by a minimum of 10 years, with an ambitious goal of 20 years.
On May 12, 2025, we are announcing the Top 40 XPRIZE Healthspan Semifinalists and the Top 8 FSHD Bonus Prize Finalists during a special Awards Ceremony. Hosted in partnership with

Longevity Investors, this exclusive event brings together these top teams alongside  leading investors, thought leaders, and partners in the healthspan space to celebrate collective progress made towards healthy aging for all.
